An idiotic teen and her big mouth costs her parents $80,000 when she goes on her Facebook page and brags about a recent court settlement that was awarded to her father.
Patrick Snay, 69, was the headmaster at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami for several years, but when the school did not renew his contract in 2010, Snay sued his former employer for age discrimination and won a settlement of $80,000.
Part of the agreement contained a confidentiality clause which prohibited Snay or the school from talking about the settlement, but Snay’s daughter – Dana didn’t get the memo. “Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver,” Dana Snay wrote on her Facebook Page. “Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”
At no fault to Dana, from recent posts on her twitter page, she doesn’t seem to be too bright of a person.
Snay’s Facebook page is reported to have somewhere around 1,200 friends and her boasting made it’s way back to the school’s attorneys who appealed the verdict. Patrick Snay argued that he needed to share the news with his Dana because she suffered “psychological scars” from her time at the school. Snay is allowed to file a motion for rehearing and also appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.
