With coronavirus in full-effect, wearing a face-mask is now the norm. Many who do not have a medical-grade face mask have taken a more creative approach utilizing everything and anything they can to substitute.
However, a man in Southern California is going viral after he was photographed wearing a Ku-Klux-Klan hood while shopping at Vons.
Now, the Southern California ‘Vons’ Market is coming under fire after allowing a man to shop wearing a KKK hood.
A spokeswoman for Vons market stated clerks repeatedly asked the shopper to remove the hood or leave the store. Despite Vons market claiming to have asked the man several times to remove to Klan hood, the man disregarded the request and continued shopping. It wasn’t until the man was in a checkout line, that a manager asked him again to take off the hood or leave. The man removed the hood, purchased his items and left.
Santee Mayor John Minto and other leaders condemned the incident. However many are questioning why the man was allowed to shop and not forced to leave the store.
