After the Arizona Wildcats lost to the Wisconsin Badgers, angry Arizona students took to the streets of University Boulevard and began to riot .
In an effort to control the situation, riot cops were called in but one officer’s actions is now coming under fire. A cop in riot gear is seen in a cell phone video viciously blindsiding a woman for no apparent reason.
Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan stated that crowds wouldn’t leave despite warnings through a PA system declaring it an unlawful assembly. Officers used pepper spray, pepper canisters and pepper balls against the rioting students.
Arizona lost 64-63 to Wisconsin in the West Region final Saturday in Anaheim, Calif.
Here’s some additional footage of the Riot Police shooting a student with several rubber bullets that seem to have no effect.
So is it illegal to stand there and be shot by rubber bullets? Looked like they arrested him. Lol
