DNA analysis shows that only George Zimmerman’s DNA was found on the black Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm semi-automatic pistol that was used in the murder of Trayvon Martin.
This piece of evidence is particularly important because in George Zimmerman’s “Stand your ground” defense, he claimed that Trayvon Martin reached for his gun and that is why he shot him. The new forensic evidence suggests that Trayvon never touched Zimmerma’s gun during the incident.
Other NEW pieces of evidence released by Florida law enforcement include a recorded statement from the 7-11 clerk who sold Trayvon Martin the ‘Skittles’ and ‘Arizona Iced Tea’, Photos from a P.I. and Trayvon’s school records.
