In a Youtube video titled “That one time I was held at gun point,” the smoke shop employee who wanted to remain annonymous, said in her video description: “On Thursday, May 14 2015, in SLC, UT, I was closing my shop when some guy came in with a gun and demanded all my money and Marlboro Reds!?!? I tried to keep him around as long as possible while pressing the emergency button. I called the police immediately after I got the guy’s license plate and they caught him not even 5 minutes later sitting in a car wash, idiot. The newspaper article was like “Taken To The Cleaners” lol. He was arrested and now faces many years in prison for multiple aggravated robberies.”

According to reports, the clerk sent the video to her sister who then posted it online without her knowing. The video shows an armed man entering the Utah smoke shop, pointing the gun at the clerk and demanding cash. The clerk then gives witty play-by-play of what followed. The clerk said the suspect demanded cash and cigarettes and she put them in bags for him, one pack at a time. “Oh, do you want me to double bag that for you? Here, I will put this bag inside that one and he was like, ‘Yeah, double bag it, double bag it, that’s the way to do it, double bag it,’” she said. “I’m like, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll double bagged it for you, see?’ I’m taking my sweet time.”

Officers did not arrive to the store until after the suspect left as it was discovered the suspect had cut the phone line. When the suspect left the store she followed him and got his license plate number. She then called police and the suspect and an accomplice were caught minutes later hiding in a car wash.

In an interview with Fox13, the smoke shop employee said: “I feel like because I was so nice to him, he was nice right back to me, so I think it went pretty well as far as armed robberies can go.” The suspects, 41-year-old Marc Kammerman and 28-year-old Manmeet Bhatia, are now facing armed robbery charges.
