Arrests Made After 49ners Fans Bathroom Brawl

Two men were arrested for felony assault after video surfaces of them violently beating fans in a restroom during the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs game this past Sunday.

In the video, the uploader explains the incident saying: “First thing that happened when entering bathroom. All due to impatience for an open stall.”

The video shows one of the men attacking one victim who falls to the ground and remains unconscious. The video then shows the two men beating a second victim repeatedly even while on the ground.

The two attackers, Dario Rebollero,34, and Amador Rebollero,27, are reportedly brothers from the Tulare County town of Traver. They were both arrested on felony assault charges.

The wife of one of the attackers says a comment she saw on the YouTube video, that says the victim made a racist comment and was laid out, gives her hope that other witnesses will step forward.

The 49ers released a statement Monday on the incident: “We would like to send our deepest concern and well wishes to the victims of yesterday’s incident. We were appalled to see the video of the attack on the victims and salute the Santa Clara Police Department on their quick response that resulted in the apprehension of the two suspects. Maintaining the safety of all stadium guests is our highest priority and we are dedicated to providing a friendly and welcoming environment for all events held at Levi’s Stadium.”

Santa Clara police say they can’t confirm or deny if the victims provoked the suspects at this point as their case is still under investigation. One of the victims was treated at a hospital and released while the other remains in serious condition.
