A Talala woman was arrested after she was found to have left her 1-year-old child in a hot vehicle for 45-minutes outside a Wal-Mart store while she shopped, Owasso police said.
Hannah Victoria Secondi, 38, was taken into custody after shoppers spotted the child in the car outside the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 12101 E. 96th St. North.
Secondi told police that she forgot the child was in the vehicle when she went into the store.
Reports indicated that the child was left alone for about 45 minutes in the vehicle which reached temperatures of 120 to 138 degrees. The child was taken to St. John Medical Center in Owasso for evaluation and treatment and was released Tuesday night into the father’s custody.
