GASTONIA, N.C. — A crazy woman in Gastonia is recorded on video as she performs “donuts” in the middle of an intersection, crashing into multiple vehicles and almost hitting passerbys. The incident occurred at the intersection of New Hope Road and East Ozark Avenue in Gastonia just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Chad McGaha recorded the wild scene what was happening from his smartphone up until the driver ended up running off the road and down a 12-foot embankment, knocking over a fire hydrant and flipping over. Officers rushed over to pull her out of the car and handcuff her.

In the end, police said the woman hit two police cars and two civilian cars. McGaha said he’s “just grateful that nobody got hurt, that’s the main thing. It could’ve been real bad.” So far, the driver’s name has not been released but Police said when they asked, she told them her name was “faith, hope and love.” The unidentified woman was taken to the hospital to be checked out as police continue to investigate.
