Aaron Hernandez Moved to Solitary after Shank Found in Cell

Former TE for the New England Patriots Aaron Hernandez has been moved to solitary confinement after correctional officers found a homemade knife/shank in his cell.

Hernandez was also found to have received a new tattoo that references the Bloods gang while being taken by the prison guards to his segregation unit. This is not Hernandez’s first incident in prison. Hernandez had been indicted in an alleged jail assault after getting into a fight with another inmate.

The former NFL star is serving a life sentence in the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center a prison outside Boston for the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd.
