On June 24th, 2011, ‘YouTube‘ member “alymco1” uploaded a video that was soon to be a viral sensation. With over 700,000 views thus far because of a re-post by “Ellas Virgo”, this video has even caught the attention of mainstream media.
There has been some speculation as to whether the video is authentic or not (as always) but if you ask me (who has a degree in broadcasting and digital editing) the video appears to have no outside interference such as effects, editing, etc.
The question that arises is this: “alymco1” has been a member of ‘YouTube’ since 2007. Why would someone who has been a user for that long only have 1 video posted and a duplicate on their “channel”?
The video shows the recording of a person who’s running to a spot where many have gathered and started taking photos and video. The camera pans up to show 3 bright circular objects flying through the sky. The objects appear again accompanied by a larger object which hovers for a short while then disappears. Someone can even be heard saying “There’s a UFO up there!”
No company has come forward claiming responsibility for the video.
