‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon Debuts With Star Studded Guests (Video)

After 40+ years Jimmy Fallon brought “The Tonight Show” back to New York City. The former SNL cast-member turned late night host debuted on “The Tonight Show” and brought with him some help from A-List celebrity guests.

During his extended monologue, Jimmy Fallon Fallon thanked his “Tonight Show” predecessors – Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno. Fallon then spoke to the camera regarding a $100 wager he and a friend had made betting he would not become the host of “The Tonight Show” and with that out came Robert De Niro, Tina Fey, Joe Namath, Former NYC mayor – Rudy Guiliani, Mariah Carey, Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Kim Kardashian, Seth Rogan, Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mike Tyson, Lady Gaga and Steven Colbert.

Jimmy’s first guests included Oscar winning actor Will Smith and a musical performance from U2 who played atop “The Rock” (G.E Building) and gave a special acoustic performance/ Interview.
