Skagit River Bridge Collapse (Video)

Imagine going across a bridge and then it suddenly collapses sending you and other vehicles into the river below. This was true for people who were crossing the Interstate 5 Bridge over the Skagit River in Washington state.

The Skagit bridge collapsed around 7 p.m., both north and southbound lanes of the interstate were affected. 3 People were injured but no one was killed as first-responders acted quickly to pull the bodies out of the frigid waters.

Komo News states the I-5 Skagit River bridge collapse was caused by an oversize load.
