Philando Castile’s Death Live Streamed After Being Shot by Cop

Lavish ‘Diamond’ Reynolds records her boyfriend Philando Castile being shot by police when reaching for his ID, after he informed the officers he was a CCL holder, and that he had a firearm. Castille’s girlfriend and her daughter were in the car at the time of the shooting.

Hundreds of people showed up to Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton’s house to protest the shooting after his girlfriend live-streamed his death on Facebook. Governor Dayton was reportedly evacuated from the mansion.

In the disturbing video, Lavish Reynolds says she and her boyfriend, Philando Castile, 32, were pulled over for a busted tail light by a ‘Chinese police officer’.
Lavish claims the cop, from the St. Anthony Police Department in Falcon Heights, asked Castile, a cafeteria supervisor at a school in St Paul, to show his license, but then shot him four times while he reached for it. As she talks, she moves the camera across to show Castile, bloody and losing consciousness, and the cop – still pointing his gun, as her young daughter sits in the back seat.

Philando Castile’s mother, Valerie Castile, says Philando died at Hennepin County Medical Center. St. Anthony Police confirmed that two officers were involved in the shooting.
The police officer, who is yet to be identified, been placed on paid leave.
