49ers – Chris Culliver Apologizes For Anti-Gay Comments

CHRIS CULLIVER

San Francisco 49ers corner – Chris Culliver, has angered millions including his own team right before the big game with his Anti-Gay comments that were made during a radio interview.

No, we don’t got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do. Can’t be with that sweet stuff. Nah … can’t be … in the locker room man. Nah.

Chris Culliver made the anti-gay comments to comedian – Artie Lange at a SuperBowl media event. Artie later stated:

“Hope Culliver doesn’t get in too much trouble. I look homeless so he prob thought he could be honest. Unfortunately that’s the NFL. Sucks.”

After the huge backlash from the media and his team, Chris Culliver publicly apologized.

“The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel, It has taken me seeing them in print to realize that they are hurtful and ugly. Those discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart. Further, I apologize to those who I have hurt and offended, and I pledge to learn and grow from this experience.”

It’s funny how someone who was so quick to say he doesn’t welcome Gay people would take a picture like this. Maybe Chris Culliver has his own issues?
