Tiger Woods Arrested for DUI in Florida

Golfer Tiger Woods has been arrested for DUI in Florida according to reports.

Tiger Woods was arrested around 3 A.M. early Memorial Day on suspicion of driving under the influence in Jupiter Florida. Woods was booked into a local jail and released on his own recognizance with no bond a few hours later. It is not known whether Woods tested positive for alcohol or drugs.

Woods has undergone multiple back surgeries and posted about his recovery on his blog stating:

“It has been just over a month since I underwent fusion surgery on my back, and it is hard to express how much better I feel. It was instant nerve relief. I haven’t felt this good in years.”

Woods,41, hasn’t won a major since 2008 and was forced to pull out of the Dubai Desert Classic in February.

In November 2009, Tiger was taken to a hospital after he was injured in a car accident in front of his Orlando, Florida, home. It later became public that Woods had been having extramarital affairs.

Woods took a leave from professional golf and later apologized. Woods and Elin Nordegren were divorced in 2010.
