Woman Kidnapped from Cleveland store

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A woman was kidnapped from a Cleveland convenience store Thursday and the horrific incident was captured on the store’s security camera.

The abduction occurred 9:45 p.m. at a Transmart Grocery store on East 36th Street and Woodland Avenue. The woman believed to be in her 40’s, walked into the store crying and asked to use the phone and dialed 911 for help. Bystanders can be seeing leaving as the sobbing woman dials police.

An unidentified male walks in and proceeds to forcefully remove the woman from the store. The man then forces the woman into a gold Chevy Trailblazer and drives away.

The woman is black, approximately 40 years old with black hair. She’s about 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black furry boots. Cleveland police are still searching for the woman.
