2016 claimed it’s last victim when Mariah Carey was caught lip-syncing “Auld Lang Syne”, Mariah Carey, who’s looking more like Drew Carey these days (the old Carey, not ‘The Price is Right’ Carey) was performing on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.” when the 5-time Grammy winner went through a performance train wreck in Times Square on New Year’s Eve during her hit song “Emotions,” struggling to reach notes and to sync the lyrics and music.
The cringe worthy performance continued when Carey seemingly gave up on “We Belong Together,” while a prerecording of the song continued to play reminiscent of the infamous Milli Vanilli performance.
