Jordan has executed two ISIS militants in response to the Islamic State group burning a captured Jordanian pilot to death.
Jordanian authorities were reported to have executed female would-be suicide bomber Sajida al-Rishawi by hanging along with senior al Qaeda prisoner Ziyad Karboli.
Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziyad Karboli were originally sentenced to death for plots to wage attacks against the pro-Western kingdom in the last decade.
During a live television appearance, King Abdullah stated the pilot’s killing was an act of “cowardly terror” by a deviant group that had no relation to Islam.
