Octomom Facing Felony Welfare Fraud Charges

If you haven’t heard much from the “Octomom”, it’s because she is facing felony welfare fraud charges and if convicted, the mother of eight could spend as much as 5-years in prison.

Nadya Suleman is accused of failing to report earnings between January 1-June 30, 2013 and now the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office is filing charges, including 1 count of aid by misrepresentation, and 2 counts of perjury by false application for aid. The D.A. is asking a judge to set bail at $25,000.
