VANCOUVER GIRL – AMANDA TODD COMMITS SUICIDE BECAUSE OF BULLYING (Video)

A Vancouver teen – Amanda Todd committed suicide on October 10th 2012, because of bullying. Her suicide quickly went viral and is drawing worldwide attention.

Before Amanda Todd’s suicide, she posted a Youtube video giving her “never ending story”. The video was titled “My story: Struggling, bullying, suicide, self harm” and in it she uses index cards to give a tale of the heartache she has been suffering.

Amanda Todd talks about meeting people through webcam chat and how she found solace there because she would be told that she was beautiful and perfect. It wasn’t until someone pressured her to flash her chest, that all of her troubles began.

Amanda received a Facebook message saying that if she didn’t put on a show for this person, the picture would be sent to everyone. She was later told by a group of friends that the picture did in fact go public

I then got really sick and got anxiety, major depression and panic disorders, I then moved and got into drugs and alcohol.

I can never get that photo back, It’s out there forever.

Amanda then goes on to describe getting involved with a boy who had a girlfriend, who then later beat her up while others video taped. The emotional and physical pain caused Amanda Todd to cut herself and even drink bleach in an attempt to kill herself.

Amanda Todd’s bio in Youtube reads:

I’m struggling to stay in this world, because everything just touches me so deeply. I’m not doing this for attention. I’m doing this to be an inspiration and to show that I can be strong. I did things to myself to make pain go away, because I’d rather hurt myself then someone else. Haters are haters but please don’t hate, although im sure I’ll get them. I hope I can show you guys that everyone has a story, and everyones future will be bright one day, you just gotta pull through. I’m still here aren’t I ?

A little before 6 p.m. on Oct. 10 Police were called to investigate the sudden death of the tormented teenager in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
